Kristin Booth (Penny/Paige)

 

Kristin Booth’s feature film credits include  Toronto International Film Festival film selections DEFENDOR, YOUNG PEOPLE FUCKING, (ACTRA Award nomination), and This Beautiful City;  as well as the heist thriller FOOLPROOF opposite Ryan Reynolds. For her work in Young People Fucking, Kristin was awarded the 2009 Genie Award.

 

Most recently, Kristin appeared in a guest starring role on LIVING IN YOUR CAR, and a recurring role on THE BORDER. She guest-starred on FLASHPOINT for CBS and CTV (third Gemini nomination), and THE LISTENER for NBC and CTV. She also appeared in two independent Canadian features, AT HOME BY MYSELF… WITH YOU (for which she was nominated for a 2010 ACTRA awards and CRACKIE. This year, Kristin plays Ethel Kennedy alongside greg Kinnear, Tom Wilkinson, Katie Holmes, and Barry Pepper on the controversial 8-part miniseries THE KENNEDYS, and opposite Olympia Dukakis in Thom Fitzgerald’s feature CLOUDBURST.

 

Sadie Madu (Cole/Golem)

Sadie was born in Edmonton, AB- May 2002. BELOW ZERO is her first film role, but she grew up holding Hallowe’en parties and sleepovers at the slaughterhouse location, so her familiarity with the creepy set put her in an enviable position among her castmates. Sadie is thankful for the opportunity to be in BELOW ZERO with the many talented people, both in front and behind the cameras. Sadie continues to have an interest in acting and has been inspired by BELOW ZERO to join a Youth Theatre Group.

 

 

 

 

Michael Eisner (Morty)

 

Michael Eisner is a graduate of Studio 58 and has been studying at Lyric in the master class for a year and a half. His Theater credits include Spurio in REVENGE, Billy in STEEL KISS, and Tomas in TOMAS. Before coming to play Morty in BELOW ZERO, his film and television credits included and award-winnign turn was The Englishman’s Boy in THE ENGLISHMAN’S BOY,  Frogger in COLE, Previn in THE GUARD, and Edward in SANCTUARY.
