Since bursting onto the scene in James Cameron’s TERMINATOR II: JUDGEMENT DAY, Eddie has worked with some of the most famous names in Hollywood. He played the troubled son of Meryl Streep & Liam Neeson in BEFORE AND AFTER, and brought an irresistible humanity to a young racist being drawn into the skinhead movement opposite Edward Norton in AMERICAN HISTORY X.
After John Waters gave him the titular role in PECKER, Steve Buscemi tapped him for the lead in his directorial debut, ANIMAL FACTORY, opposite Willem Dafoe, and based on the prison memoir of Eddie Bunker.
In 2010-11, Eddie appeared in Michel Gondry’s GREEN HORNET and as Gary Sinise’s nemesis on CBS’s CSI:NEW YORK.
Legendary producer George Pal (WAR OF THE WORLDS, 7 FACES OF DOCTOR LAO) discovered Michael, after wandering into Michael’s flower shop and insisting that he appear in DOC SAVAGE: MAN OF BRONZE. The rest, as they say, was history. Since that moment of fate, Michael has (or will) appear in more than 60 movies, and another 16 television projects.
Considered a mainstay of horror and B-movies, Michael’s resume actually demonstrates tremendous range as an actor. Though he is best known as Pluto in Wes Craven’s horror classic THE HILLS HAVE EYES, he has appeared in comedies (WEIRD SCIENCE), dramas (ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST), and science-fiction, in films and on television for the STAR TREK franchise.
He Has received critical acclaim for his appearance on Stingy Jack, but Michael’s performance in BELOW ZERO is the role bringing him newfound attention, calling it the best performance of his storied career.
